"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things."
Philippians 4:8
The Apostle Paul's admonition to think on things that are honorable, right, pure, lovely, of good repute, excellent and worthy of praise is really about thinking godly thoughts. Training our minds to focus this way brings spiritual maturity; seeing things as God sees them. This has strong implications regarding what we choose to read, listen to, watch, and how we speak. Something to consider as we seek God's peace in our lives.
