The eternality of God is absolutely essential to our trusting Him. For if God were not eternal, if He ever ceased to exist, then we would not have a God we could depend on. At any time He could disappear, and all His promises would disappear with Him. Praise God that He has revealed to us that He is from everlasting to everlasting. He has no beginning. He has no end. He is the First and the Last. The Alpha and the Omega. The Everlasting Father. Breathe in this marvelous truth and rejoice!
