"Now you are Christ's body, and individually members of it."
1 Corinthians 12:27
The body of Christ is alive, and if you're a Christian you're part of it. His Spirit lives in you and works through you. You are not an accident or an afterthought. You are unique, with attributes and gifts like no one else. God has a lot to say about the body in 1 Corinthians 12. It's good to do a review of that chapter every now and then, just to reaffirm how each of us is an important member of Christ's body.
